Roughly how much damage do you need to tank in various level missions?

Spud Gunn	Posted - 2008.04.18 21:30:00 - [1] Like, I'm messing around with EFT trying to put together stuff, but have no idea how much sustained DPS I should be planning on tanking... So, in rough figures, how much should I be looking at to be able to do L3 and L4 missions with minimal warpouts? And if there are any missions with unusually high DPS, what ones are they and what should I be looking at for them?

If I can continually tank, say, 100dps, will this be sufficient for level 3 if I'm careful not to aggro the whole room at once? Or do I need to work on my skills so that I can use T2 stuff and improve that figure? What about rigs - they're damn expensive, but would improve my tankability significantly, are they worthwhile for L3 missions, or are they massively overkill and a sign that my skills are too low if I'm relying on them?
